ENG – Galahad is an intense dog. His life is for herding,I tried him on different kind of sports but he doesn’t really like it. He got a lot of will to please and do it for me. But is heart is for herding. His favorite king of stock is cattle, he is a strong cattle dog, bite heel and heads. He showed really quickly eye. He got a big sens of groupe and a good balance.
He taken really a long time to understand how to work those little beast bit wings (ducks haha) and lately like to work ducks. He is now retired from active farm life, but he was my incredible daily partner. Miwok is now taking this job. We still use him when the situation is not easy, I can trust him in every situations. He will bring the flock back to me.
He makes some litters through and give to his pups what he is : a strong woriking dog.
FR – Galahad est un chien plutôt intense. Il a choisi de dédié sa vie au travail sur troupeau. J’ai essayer avec lui pas mal de sports canins différents, mais il n’a jamais vraiment aimer ça. Il a beaucoup d’envie de plaire, de faire pour son maitre, alors il le faisait. Mais son coeur a toujours battu uniquement pour le troupeau. Ce qu’il préfère travailler c’est les vaches, c’est un chien à vache très puissant, qui mord à la tête et au jarret. Il a rapidement exprimé de l’oeil. Il a un encerclement naturel et lecture du troupeau très efficace.
Galahad est maintenant en retraite pour les concours et le travail sur la ferme, mais il était et reste le plus incroyable des partenaires de travail que j’ai eu. Miwok est en train de prendre sa relève. Nous l’utilisons encore de temps à autre, quand la situation n’est pas facile. Je peux lui faire confiance en toute situation, il saura toujours m’épaulé et ramener le troupeau.
Galahad a fait quelques portée à travers l’europe , et il transmet à ses chiots ce qu’il est : un travailleur infatigable doté de grande qualités au troupeau.
